WorleyParsons Secures Sakhalin-1 Arkutun-Dagi Offshore Platform Contract from ExxonMobil

As an update to an earlier ASX Release on 16th of June 2008, WorleyParsons is pleased to announce that Sakhneftegaz Engineering LLC (SNE), a Russian company owned 49% by WorleyParsons has been awarded work orders to cover further engineering and early procurement for the Sakhalin-1, Arkutun-Dagi topsides, by ExxonMobil affiliate, Exxon Neftegas Limited.

Sakhalin-1 Arkutun-Dagi Contract

The scope of work under these work orders includes engineering, project management and early procurement for the Arkutun-Dagi offshore platform topsides project, an offshore oil and gas development at Sakhalin Island on the east coast of Russia.  Located in sub-arctic waters this will be one of the largest floatover topsides in the world. Work orders received by SNE under the contract total US $200 million for services and US $200 million for procurement.
