Rodeo Development Signs Up Drillers.com

Friday, Nov 21, 2008

Drillers.com, the company behind the on-line resource for oilfield personnel, has just been awarded a contract with Rodeo Development Limited. The oil and gas exploration and production company has engaged drilers.com to provide engineering and project management support and supply the in-country team, including a drilling manager, logistics co-ordinator, senior and night drilling supervisors, to drill appraisal and development gas wells in Cameroon.

Initially, the contract is for two wells, one of which is high pressure, high temperature. Other wells may follow, depending on the results from the first appraisal.

Rodeo Development is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bramlin who are currently in talks to merge with Victoria Oil and Gas. They have a 60% interest on the concession contract with the Government of Cameroon for the exploration, development and production of oil and gas in the Logbaba concession on the outskirts of Douala in Cameroon.

Steve Devereux, a chartered engineer with over 30 years experience in oilfield drilling is behind Drillers.com. He says: “These are technically challenging wells in an area with a history of gas kicks and some blowouts but with limited offset data. We will use careful engineering, best oilfield practice and detailed risk assessment to achieve a safe and satisfactory result.”

In addition to the valuable on-line resource www.drillers.com which provides information on jobs, training, companies and personnel, the company provides drilling consultancy and training services across the globe.
