Statoil awards FEED contract Foster Wheeler Energy Limited

Acting on behalf of operator Gassco, Statoil has awarded a frame agreement to Foster Wheeler Energy Limited for front-end engineering design (FEED) services.

This deal covers future projects at the Kårstø and Kollsnes processing plants, which are located north of Stavanger and north-west of Bergen respectively.

The frame agreement came into effect on 1 November 2012 and will run to 31 December 2015, with an option for a two-year extension.

Most of the work will be performed at Foster Wheeler’s Glasgow office in Scotland.
