Availon wins 78MW of wind turbine servicing contracts at Husum Wind expo
Thursday, Oct 01, 2015
Availon, the leading cross-brand provider of wind turbine generator services, announced today that it signed new contracts for the servicing of 48 wind turbine generators at the Husum Wind trade fair. The contracts represent an additional 78MW of capacity placed under the care of Availon.

The turbines involved include Vestas V80 and V90, Gamesa G80 and G58, GE 1.5 and DeWind D6. Three quarters of the orders are based on partial maintenance and one quarter on full maintenance concepts. Michael Richter, Global Sales Manager at Availon, commented: “Our modular contract concepts, in which our customers can individually design the scope of the service, continue to enjoy a great deal of popularity. With these new orders, we are very confident that Availon can confirm its leading position as a service company independent of manufacturers in 2015 and build on its strong position.”

The new contracts, coming from new undisclosed clients from four different European countries, underpin the dynamism of Availon’s international expansion. The company, which experienced spectacular growth over the last few years, is now firmly established as a market specialist in independent wind turbine generator services for GE®, Vestas® and Gamesa® systems.
