Bennex AS to supply a major part of the subsea signal distribution system to FMC Technologies

FMC Technologies has awarded Bennex AS to supply deepwater subsea distribution solutions to the Pazflor project located in Block 17 of Africa’s west coast. The contract has a value of approximately 70M NOK. Bennex’ scope includes a wide range of hydraulic distribution products like MQC seal and flushing caps, chemical injection units, cobra heads and hydraulic flying leads with the first of its kind “all welded solution”, in addition to Anguila fibre optical and electrical umbilical termination systems. Bennex’ service personnel will be on site in Angola to perform the umbilical termination work.   Delivery will take place during a period of about two years with the majority of the scope being finalized during 2010.
