Wednesday, Nov 27, 2013
TS Group with TS-Technology has won another contract for treatment of produced water offshore. The companys new developed Compact flotation unit (CFU) will be installed on Statoils platform, Gudrun. The deck on Gudrun will be built by Aibel in Haugesund and will be assembled at Aibels yard in 2013.
TS-Technology`s compact and multi-step compact flotation unit has a large advantage in terms of treatment capacity and lower emissions to the sea, combined with low weight, small footprint, and competitive price.
TS-Technology considers the contract to the Gudrun project as an important breakthrough for the company on the Norwegian continental shelf. In addition to the CFU system, the contract also includes delivery of hydro cyclones. TS-Technology is responsible for the overall delivery to Aibel.
For us, this is yet another confirmation that the technology captures a lot of interest among oil companies on the Norwegian Continental Shelf “says General Manager of TS-Technology Bjorn Simonsen and Terje Kornberg, responsible for contracts and projects.
At the end of last year TS Technology signed two contracts in China for delivery of CFU systems in the second and third quarters this year. They are now experiencing high demand from oil companies and engineering companies worldwide. It is scheduled for more tests the next few weeks in Asia and on Norwegian and UK side of the north sea, and we are well on track to fill the order book for 2011 says General Manager Bjorn Simonsen.
